Glycostat® is a proprietary extract derived from a wild genotype of bitter melon (bitter gourd) that has been shown to outperform standard bitter melon extracts in published preclinical studies. Bitter melon has been traditionally used to support cardiovascular and metabolic function.

Many studies confirm that bitter melon shows excellent qualities in the treatment of type 2 diabetes . This is due to three active substances with antidiabetic properties in its composition – charantin, which is known to lower blood sugar, vicin, and the insulin-like compound polypeptide-P, which controls the transformation of glucose into energy for cells.

Research has shown that bitter melon contains several forms of antibacterial as well as antiviral agents . These agents are capable of reducing susceptibility to infections such as Helicobacter pylori and various viruses, including HIV. Additionally, studies have identified anthelmintic agents in bitter melon - a group of antiparasitic compounds that help expel parasitic worms and other internal parasites from the body.

Δεν μπορώ να πω πολλά με σιγουριά και βεβαιότητα, το παίρνω μόνο ένα μηνα, χρειάζεται τουλάχιστον τρεις, βελτίωση αισθάνομαι στους τένοντες,και στις αρθρώσεις,μεγάλη δυσκαμψία έχω στα χέρια, συνεχίζω την προσπάθεια μου με υπομονή.
