Spirulina is the name for a blue-green seaweed, also known as Spirulina Maxima or Spirulina Platensis. This algae grows in salt-rich coastal areas such as Central and East America, as well as Africa.

Spirulina was a huge part of the diet of the ancient Aztecs and African tribes. Spirulina has cholesterol-lowering, antiviral and antimutagenic properties. Spirulina is considered one of the best sources of protein (it represents more than 60% of its mass). It contains a complex of vitamins (A, beta-carotene, C, B-complex, E, biotin), as well as minerals indispensable for the human body (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, molybdenum).

In addition, Spirulina is a rich source of xanthophyll and phycocyanin, which have anti-cancer properties, is successfully included in fat reduction programs, helps fight anemia, burns, postoperative interventions, and is an indispensable part of specialized nutrition for athletes and weightlifters, as well as for people of all ages.

Δεν μπορώ να πω πολλά με σιγουριά και βεβαιότητα, το παίρνω μόνο ένα μηνα, χρειάζεται τουλάχιστον τρεις, βελτίωση αισθάνομαι στους τένοντες,και στις αρθρώσεις,μεγάλη δυσκαμψία έχω στα χέρια, συνεχίζω την προσπάθεια μου με υπομονή.
