Rye, BIO seeds for sprouting
EKO nasiona na kiełki Żyto is rye seeds, a product of organic farming, for growing sprouts at home. Rye sprouts contain concentrated amounts of vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes and many other valuable substances. Sprouted rye, thanks to its composition, has a positive effect on the whole body: it improves the functioning of the digestive, cardiovascular, nervous systems, and strengthens the immune system. Rye sprouts are a rich source of B vitamins and a source of calcium and iron. They clean the arteries, strengthen hair, teeth and bones. At home, sprouts are prepared as follows: The seeds are washed, placed in a container and filled with water so that it covers the seeds by 1.5-2 centimeters. Leave the container at room temperature for 12 hours (but change the water every 2 hours), then rinse thoroughly and place the grains in the container without water, and cover with damp gauze folded several times on top. After 8 hours, the first sprouts should appear, when they reach a size of a centimeter, rinse them well, place them in a dry container, close tightly and store in the refrigerator.

The specific characteristics and properties of the key ingredient – rye sprouts:
Rye (Secale cereale) is a species of plant in the family Cereals and is grown as a grain, cover crop and fodder crop. Rye grain is used to produce flour, bread, beer, whiskey, vodka and fodder. In the mid-20th century, supporters of healthy eating drew attention to the beneficial properties of rye sprouts. Sprouted rye contains a large amount of protein, B vitamins and antioxidants, which makes it not just food, but a real nutritional supplement. Rye sprouts contain 17 amino acids, including a full range of essential ones, as well as a number of other beneficial elements. Potassium improves brain function, maintains the elasticity of blood vessels and regulates acid-nitrogen and water balance. Magnesium supports the nervous, cardiovascular and digestive systems. Phosphorus is good for muscles, teeth and bones. Rye sprouts are a relatively high-calorie product, but in moderate doses they even help regulate body weight, as they have a well-balanced composition and contain dietary fiber, which speeds up metabolism.
