Rosemary honey is used as a valuable ingredient in our cuisine, made from multi-colored honey infused with rosemary.

This is a type of honey made mostly from the nectar of rosemary flowers combined with the pollen of the rosemary plant. There are several species of the plant, but Rosmarinus officinalis is the most common. Rosemary usually blooms in the spring, often early, but in warmer climates it can bloom throughout the summer and into the fall, as long as the weather is favorable. The flowers can be purple, blue, pink, or white and provide a fragrant source of nectar for honeybees to use.

The final product is different from real honey, which is made by bees from the nectar of the flower. Today, rosemary is recommended for dizziness and low blood pressure, stress and nervous tension, general exhaustion and sexual weakness. A decoction of the leaves stimulates the work of the stomach and intestines.
