Swanson Astaxanthin 12 mg is a reddish pigment that belongs to a group of substances called carotenoids. It occurs naturally in nature, mainly in seafood, and is responsible for the pink or reddish color of salmon and shrimp. The microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis produce astaxanthin as a defense mechanism against harsh environmental conditions. These protective properties can also be beneficial to humans, which is why astaxanthin is also available as a dietary supplement. It is one of the most powerful antioxidants, protecting cell health and is thousands of times stronger than vitamin C and hundreds of times stronger than vitamin E.

Unlike other carotenoids, which target specific areas of the body, astaxanthin has a broad spectrum of effects. Researchers have already found that this antioxidant supports eye, heart, brain, skin health, and increases muscle endurance.

Δεν μπορώ να πω πολλά με σιγουριά και βεβαιότητα, το παίρνω μόνο ένα μηνα, χρειάζεται τουλάχιστον τρεις, βελτίωση αισθάνομαι στους τένοντες,και στις αρθρώσεις,μεγάλη δυσκαμψία έχω στα χέρια, συνεχίζω την προσπάθεια μου με υπομονή.
