Mattisson Omega 3 Fish Oil 1000 mg contains high-quality, 100% pure fish oil, which is pressed at low temperature from various fish species. Due to this gentle processing process, these capsules do not contain any additives and have not undergone any chemical changes. Fish oil is a source of omega-3 fatty acids EPA & DHA. Mattisson Fish Oil 1000 mg contains 180 mg EPA & 120 mg DHA.

Omega-3 fatty acids are classified as essential fatty acids (EFAs), meaning they cannot be synthesized by the human body. They must be obtained entirely from external sources, such as food or supplements. Omega-3 fatty acids include nutrients such as Alpha-linolenic acid, Eicosapentaenoic acid, and Docosahexaenoic acid.

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)

This fatty acid has a strong anti-inflammatory effect on the body. It forms signaling molecules called eicosanoids, which send information to the nervous system and affect the synthesis of every hormone. Eicosapentaenoic acid also has a pronounced effect in the treatment of depression, schizophrenia and hyperactivity.

Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA)
