Femme Lean and Balance on Vitabay ® is a formula specially developed for women who want to maintain an elegant and slim figure. The product contains Slimaluma - a standardized extract of the Caralluma fimbriata plant.

Slimaluma is an extract from the plant Caralluma fimbriata , which is similar to a cactus and has been used as a food for centuries in India. It has often been used as an appetite suppressant during prolonged periods of famine due to drought in some areas. In southern India, the leaves of the plant were chewed to increase stamina and suppress appetite during hunting. Its appetite-reducing properties make it an ideal addition to modern diets to suppress appetite and maintain a healthy weight.

Action and pharmacological composition of the plant Caralluma fimbriata:

The main compounds responsible for the slimming and appetite-suppressing effects are pregnane glycosides. In addition to them, the plant is rich in polyphenols, tannins, flavonoids and saponins.

Pregnane glycosides work in the following way:

• They increase the release of the energy molecule adenosine triphosphate in the hypothalamus and thus send a signal for energy intake that promotes satiety;
• reduces the production of the hormone ghrelin, which stops the formation of the hunger-stimulating molecule neuropeptide Y;
• blocks the enzyme citrate lyase and thus prevents the formation of the building blocks for fat production.
