Have you ever wondered why chelated mineral glycinates are so effective? To answer this question, we must first understand the process of chelation. It is the result of a specific chemical process of binding minerals to amino acids. Chelation occurs naturally when our bodies begin to digest the food we eat to facilitate the transport of minerals into the intestinal walls, from where they can reach the rest of the body's organs and systems. Amino acids are not the only "chelators", but they work best on minerals. The body efficiently absorbs individual amino acids, and Albion has identified the amino acid glycine as the preferred molecule in the creation of organic chelated minerals. Glycine is easily identified and absorbed through the intestinal wall, and glycine chelates are small enough to transport directly into the cells themselves.

Other ingredients: Rice flour, Gelatin, Glycine, Citric acid, Silicon dioxide, Magnesium stearate

Recommended Dosage: Take one capsule daily with water. Taking zinc on an empty stomach may cause stomach upset in some people. Take as a dietary supplement. Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet.
