Mechanism of action of the patented PolyGlycopleX® complex. PolyGlycopleX® consists of natural, highly viscous fibers. When taken during a meal, the fibers swell in the intestines and reach their optimal viscosity, i.e. expand their volume up to 30 - 60 minutes after ingestion, forming a gel-like substance that increases the volume of food in the gastrointestinal tract.

As a result, the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates slows down, the glycemic index of foods decreases, and the release of signaling molecules (hormones) that help control appetite is stimulated.

Method of administration:
