The most potent beta glucans are extracted from the yeast Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. These are the long-chain 1.3 β and 1.4 β-glucans.
The extract of The microalgae Euglena gracilis is extracted by fermentation of dried biomass and contains more than 50% 1.3 beta glucans in combination with amino acids, proteins, vitamins, minerals and omega-3 fatty acids.
