Vitamin D3 1000 IU - 100 Gel capsules

Jarrow Formulas® Vitamin D3 provides cholecalciferol, the highest and most bioavailable form of vitamin D. Vitamin D is commonly available in two forms: vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and D3 (cholecalciferol) . While both forms can increase vitamin D levels in the body, vitamin D3 produces three times more vitamin D metabolites, with a longer retention time and higher potency.

Jarrow Formulas uses only cholecalciferol (D 3) to ensure the highest quality and bioavailability of vitamin D. Vitamin D 3 improves the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, stimulates the synthesis of osteocalcin (an important structural protein in bones), and supports a healthy immune response.

Recommended Intake: For adults, take 1 softgel daily with a meal or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.

Other ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil. The softgel capsule consists of gelatin, glycerin and water.

Does not contain: Wheat, soy, gluten, dairy, eggs, fish/shellfish, peanuts or tree nuts.

100 IU of vitamin D is equal to 2.5 micrograms of cholecalciferol. Each softgel contains 25 mcg of cholecalciferol.
