Flavonoids (or bioflavonoids) are plant-derived nutrients that are some of the most common elements in the human diet. There are over 4,000 different flavonoids found worldwide, and luteolin is one of the most common. It is found in a number of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, including artichokes, celery, thyme, citrus fruits, and more. Today, luteolin is being called the "flavonoid of the future," thanks to the rapidly growing body of evidence (over 2,000 published studies to date) suggesting its great potential benefits for health, cognitive function, and memory. Much of the research on luteolin provides information about its fundamental benefits for human health. For example, the decline of mitochondria (the energy center of each cell) is believed to be a major cause of aging. This “mitochondrial theory of aging” has much in common with the “free radical theory,” as free radicals are produced in cells by the energy-producing function of mitochondria. A number of reports suggest that luteolin may halt mitochondrial aging by activating cellular antioxidants. According to scientists, luteolin may also help maintain brain health and cognitive health. The science here is objective, but that doesn’t mean that all luteolin supplements have the same effect. Luteolin is not bioavailable on its own. It requires the presence of other bioflavonoids in order to be metabolized by the body and reach the cells in its active form. Luteolin often needs rutin to “unlock” its potential. Μόλις έλαβα το προϊόν. Γράφει: να μην ξεπερνας την ημερήσια δόση (!!!)
Έψαξα παντού τη δόση, ακομη και στο σαιτ σας. Αλλά ΔΕΝ γράφει πουθενά !!
