Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)

The hawthorn plant is a type of shrub or tree native to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia. It is known for its longevity and a number of beneficial properties that make it a preferred choice in herbal medicine. It is a source of:

• Vitamins A, B, E, K and C.
• Flavonoids with antioxidant effect.
• Ursolic acid with anti-inflammatory effects.
• Oleic acid, which stimulates blood circulation and improves heart function.
• Dopamine, responsible for various neurological and physiological processes in the body, including emotions, digestion, kidney function, insulin, etc.
