Magnesium citrate malate plays a role in keeping muscles strong by activating the body's natural energy. These capsules contain 13% elemental magnesium, which is necessary for many processes in the body. It contributes to normal muscle function, assists in the transmission of nerve impulses and is involved in memory and concentration. Rich sources of magnesium are cocoa, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dates, plums and avocados. However, magnesium deficiency is increasingly common these days. What is magnesium citrate?

What is magnesium malate?

Magnesium malate is a combination of the mineral magnesium with organic malic acid. Malic acid can be used in the citric acid cycle, which contributes to the formation of ATP (energy). This organically bound form of magnesium is better absorbed than inorganically bound forms of magnesium, such as magnesium oxide or magnesium sulfate.
