Jarrow Formulas ® Resveratrol contains 100 mg of resveratrol (3,4',5-trihydroxystilbene) and resveratrol glucosides (piceids) , extracted from the root of Hu zhang ("Tiger Reed"), also known as Polygonum cuspidatum .
Polygonum extracts have a long history in traditional Eastern medicine as cardio-tonics. Jarrow Formulas ® Resveratrol provides no less than 90% resveratrol in the trans configuration.
As an antioxidant, resveratrol supports the cardiovascular system by inhibiting LDL oxidation, increasing nitric oxide synthesis, and promoting capillary integrity. Resveratrol has also been studied for its ability to activate Phase 2 detoxifying enzymes to support healthy cell replication.
Recommended intake: 1 capsule daily with food or juice or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.

Other ingredients: Cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide. The capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
