Haifisch / Shark Cartilage is a food supplement that contains freeze-dried shark cartilage powder with added calcium. The product supports the normal condition of bones and joints. Shark cartilage is used for various health conditions, including arthritis, psoriasis, skin irritations and difficult-to-heal wounds, damage to the retina of the eye and inflammation of the small intestine (enteritis).

Shark cartilage is the tissue that provides support for the fins of sharks (Squalus acanthias). It is primarily produced from the fins of sharks caught in the Pacific Ocean.

Shark cartilage is a type of connective tissue composed of mucopolysaccharides (including chondroitin sulfate), protein substances, calcium, sulfur, and collagen.
