Primrose is a cold-pressed, solvent-free, hexane-free oil from the seeds of the evening primrose (Oenothera lamarckiana) , which is a superb source of Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) . GLA is an important omega-6 fatty acid needed for the production of beneficial prostaglandins (hormone-like compounds) that play an important role in promoting immune regulation.
In Europe, evening primrose oil is traditionally prescribed for gastrointestinal complaints, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) , asthma, coughs, skin diseases, and for wound healing in general.
Recommended intake: 1 softgel, 1-2 times daily with meals or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
