Holland & Barrett D-Mannose is a high-quality, effective dietary supplement for the treatment and prevention of urinary tract infections. D-Mannose is a natural sugar found in large quantities in fruits such as apples, blueberries, oranges and peaches. It occurs naturally in the human body: for example, in the mucous membranes of the urinary tract and bladder. After ingestion, D-mannose is absorbed almost immediately in the upper gastrointestinal tract, is not converted to glycogen in the liver and enters the bloodstream unchanged. Within one hour, 90% of the ingested mannose can be detected in the blood. It has no effect on the intestines or glucose metabolism, so it can be safely used by diabetics. Instructions for use:
