Conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA for short, is a unique form of the essential linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. CLA plays a very important role in the fight against obesity by accelerating the loss of body weight and, more specifically, fat deposits.

Conjugated linoleic acid is a naturally occurring type of trans fat found in meat and dairy products, especially those from grass-fed animals. This is due to the high linoleic acid content in grass.
