Description

Borage (Borago Officinalis) is an herb that originates from Syria. It is widespread throughout Europe, North Africa and the Mediterranean. The leaves of the plant have a cucumber-like taste and can be used to prepare salads and soups. Borage flowers, on the other hand, have a sweet taste, similar to honey, and are often used in confectionery.

The oil is extracted from the seeds of the borage plant. It contains fatty amino acids that support the body's metabolic activity. The most important of them, however, is gamma linoleic acid. It improves blood circulation and supports the cardiovascular system. It helps maintain the normal state of a woman during the menstrual cycle. It also has an exceptional effect on the skin, nails and hair, nourishing them in depth.

Nature's Way Borage Oil is of the highest quality and contains 24% gamma-linolenic acid from non-GMO seeds. Gamma-linolenic acid is an important source of Omega-6 fatty acids that the body needs.

Cold pressed, unrefined borage oil. Free of hexane and trans fats.
