Brahmi ( Bacopa Monnieri ) is a perennial creeping plant native to the humid zones of South and East India, Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and has different names in different regions. It can sometimes grow in slightly saline conditions. It is an unscented herb and its leaves are succulent and oblong.

What is contained in Brahmi:

The most prominent phytochemicals in Brahmi are dammarane-type triterpenoid saponins, also known as bacosides. It also contains alkanoids such as nicotine and apigenin, as well as flavonoids.
