The VemoHerb® Ginkgo Hypericum dietary supplement includes standardized dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves and Hypericum perforatum aerial mass with a high content of active components. The selected ratio of 3:2 is consistent with the amount of hypericin – 0.5% in the extract and the amount of ginkgoflavone glycosides – 24%, calculated as the sum of quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin.

Hypericin is an anthraquinone derivative that blocks the action of monoamine oxidase, participates in brain metabolism and affects the transmission of nerve impulses. This helps maintain serotonin levels in the central nervous system and improves long-term mood. Pure hypericin isolated alone has less pronounced antidepressant properties than when combined with other plant components - flavonoids, xanthogenates and tannins.

The dry extract of St. John's wort, which is a mixture of the active substances of the plant, is defined as a plant antidote with more pronounced antidepressant properties and an effect of application in mild to moderately pronounced depressions and nervous conditions. It is established that this is the result of a synergistic effect between hypericin and flavonoids in inhibiting the action of monoamine oxidase and the secretion of corticotropin. Suppression of the neurons responsible for depressive states (the presynaptic neuron) is achieved.


In the food supplement VemoHerb ® Ginkgo Hypericum, the amount of flavonoids is increased by the additionally imported ginkgoflavonoids quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin with the extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves. The effect of the product on the central and peripheral nervous systems, memory is enhanced and the final effect of the combination is expressed in a decrease in the risk of nervous and mental disorders and the related changes in the general biological functional state of the body.

Ginkgoflavon glycosides are also a kind of protective factor for the blood vessels of the heart and brain, they lower blood lipids and improve the elasticity of cell walls. They regulate the breakdown of serotonin, control its level and the level of hormones in the blood, thereby helping to achieve general nervous calm and overcome daily physical, mental stress and stress.

VemoHerb ® Ginkgo Hypericum enhances brain activity, increases concentration and improves memory. Helps maintain quick reactions for a longer time and slows down the effects of fatigue on the body. Recommended for states of anxiety, fear, insomnia, tension in everyday life, mild to moderate depression and nervous conditions.

Recommended daily dose : up to 3 capsules daily

Composition in one capsule : 120 mg dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves, standardized to 24% ginkgoflavone glycosides, 80 mg dry extract of Hypericum perforatum aerial mass, standardized to 0.5% hypericin and 5 mg magnesium stearate.
