What are the properties of olive leaf extract?

According to recent scientific studies, the Mediterranean diet, which relies exclusively on olive tree products, is one of the healthiest in the world. Oleuropein, the most abundant substance in olive leaves, has an extremely strong antioxidant effect.

Olive Leaf Extract contains mainly plant phenols and lignins, which protect the body from external stress and the processes associated with it.

In experiments, hypertension was experimentally induced and it was found that oleuropein exerts a clearly pronounced hypotensive effect lasting more than 5 hours. The hypotensive effect of oleuropein is due to central and peripheral action. A second, main characteristic of oleuropein is its coronary dilating (antiarrhythmic) action.

In some models of experimentally induced arrhythmia, oleuropein exerts a pronounced antiarrhythmic effect. Oleuropein also has an antispastic effect.

According to other studies, olive leaf extract has a 400% stronger antioxidant effect compared to the same amount of vitamin C, and is almost twice as strong as green tea extract and grape seed extract.

Δεν μπορώ να πω πολλά με σιγουριά και βεβαιότητα, το παίρνω μόνο ένα μηνα, χρειάζεται τουλάχιστον τρεις, βελτίωση αισθάνομαι στους τένοντες,και στις αρθρώσεις,μεγάλη δυσκαμψία έχω στα χέρια, συνεχίζω την προσπάθεια μου με υπομονή.
