Vitamin B7 - biotin - widely known as the "hair vitamin", helps to strengthen and grow hair, strengthen nails, and hydrate the skin. Biotin deficiency is manifested by thinning and splitting hair, irritated and dry skin, and brittle nails. It is recommended to take biotin with nutritional supplements, since topically, as an ingredient in face creams, its absorption by the body is significantly less.
Silicon, also known as silica or the "beauty" mineral - regardless of how we call it, is extremely important for healthy hair, elastic skin and strong nails. It is one of the factors in building healthy connective tissue - including muscles, tendons, cartilage and bones.
