Lutein 20 mg - 120 gel capsules

Lutein is a powerful antioxidant carotenoid that occurs naturally with zeaxanthin, two closely related carotenoids. Lutein and zeaxanthin have clinically validated benefits for supporting visual function and protecting eye tissue health. They are concentrated in the lens and macula of the eye, as well as in the brain, skin, breast, and cervical tissues. For both lutein and zeaxanthin, the protective effects against macular degeneration are commonly associated with aging and oxidative stress.

Jarrow Formulas® Lutein is extracted from marigold petals. Each softgel contains 20 mg of lutein (net) from lutein esters, which are natural, more stable and significantly better absorbed.

Recommended intake: 1 softgel daily with food or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
