The product Blue poppy by Dary Natury is 100% seeds of the Meconopsis betonicifolia plant, also known as Himalayan poppy. Blue poppy seeds are a rich source of vitamins B, folic acid, E, C and D. Poppy is a storehouse of micro- and macroelements, such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron. Blue poppy is an excellent nutritional and medicinal plant. Only the seeds are consumed. They contain up to 55% fat, up to 20% protein and up to 20% carbohydrates. In their composition, the seeds also have a lot of dietary fiber, thanks to which they have a beneficial effect on the digestive system. Blue poppy is an excellent nutritional and medicinal plant. The seeds have a positive effect on the absorption of food. They are widely used in cooking. Poppy seeds are sprinkled on buns, bagels, pies, biscuits, crackers and other baked goods made from flour, halva and various confectionery are prepared.

In cooking, they are used both independently and in combination with other spices. The seeds are roasted in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes. In this version, the product is used mainly in Turkish cuisine. Indian chefs add poppy seeds mixed with coconut to food. In West Bengal and Bangladesh, white poppy seeds are mainly used, which improve the creamy texture of mashed potatoes. In Austria and Hungary, poppy seeds are an indispensable ingredient in traditional strudel. In the Balkans, poppy seeds are widely used for sprinkling on baked goods - bread, muffins, bagels and others.
