The biochemical characteristics of the herb blood geranium (Geranium sanguineum) are well studied. The rhizomes contain tannins, flavonoid glycosides, monocyclic sesquiterpenes, mainly germacrone, proanthocyanidins, anthocyanins, polyphenolic acids and essential oil in quantities determined by the phase of development of the plant and the time of day when the drug is collected.

The properties of the VemoHerb ® Geranium food supplement are determined by the polyphenol combination of flavonoid glycosides and tannins, which stimulates the production of white blood cells and especially lymphocytes, which are the main part of the human body's immune defense.

The biochemical affinity of the active ingredients to the virus envelope causes binding to it and subsequent deactivation of the virus. The sufficient amount of flavonoids in the extract, which are some of the most active natural antioxidants, frees the body from toxic substances formed during the development of infections. Recent studies on the properties of polyphenol complexes in extracts of blood geranium roots show a pronounced inhibitory effect on the development of pathogenic viruses, bacteria, fungi and cancer cells.

Composition in one capsule : 200.0 mg dry extract of Geranium sanguineum roots with a content of polyphenols, calculated as catechin, not less than 22%, tannins, calculated as tannin, not less than 25%, anthocyanins, calculated as the sum of malvidin chloride and cyanidin chloride, not less than 0.3% and 250 mg fillers: maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
