The root of the word probiotic comes from the Greek words “pro-for” and “bios-life,” in other words “for life.” According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO, 2001), probiotics are “live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the human body.”

KOLONBIOTIC® 7 GG sport edition is a dietary supplement containing specially selected lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, in extremely high concentrations of up to 7 billion (7x109 CFU *) and additionally fructooligosaccharides, which are a natural source of energy for the bacteria.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus* – maintains bacterial balance and healthy skin, also having a positive effect on atopic dermatitis. Participates in the fight against urinary and respiratory tract infections, reduces anxiety by lowering stress hormones and gamma-aminobutyric acid neurotransmitter receptors. Also survives in the gastrointestinal tract.

This modern symbiotic is produced in innovative sustained-release capsules that dissolve in the intestines.

These capsules are characterized by increased resistance to the acidic pH of the stomach, protecting bacteria from their destructive effects and allowing them to safely reach the intestines and colonize them.

Purpose: complements the intestinal microflora, especially during antibiotic therapy and 2-3 weeks after discontinuation of the antibiotic.

Recommended daily intake: 1 capsule once daily, with plenty of liquid, preferably during a meal. If you have difficulty swallowing, the capsule can be opened and the contents can be dissolved in a liquid at room temperature (e.g. water, milk, fruit juice).
