Description and main properties of fisetin
The plant flavonoid fisetin is found in small amounts in many fruits, vegetables and other plants, where it functions as a yellow coloring agent. It also plays a similar role in the common sumac (cotinus coggygria), from whose stems the Double Wood dietary supplement is extracted.

Like other polyphenols, such as resveratrol, fisetin acts as an activator of sirtuins, thereby helping to increase lifespan.
