For centuries, the berries of the black elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) have been used traditionally as a winter remedy. Sambucus is prepared from a unique cultivar of the black elderberry with a high content of natural flavonoids. A broad-spectrum black elderberry extract standardized to anthocyanins, which are powerful bioactive flavonoids. Prepared using a gentle solvent-free extraction method that ensures maximum biological activity of the flavonoids. Our black elderberry extract is tested for bioavailability and activity in the body.
