Dary Natury's alcoholic spice is an excellent herbal stimulant that is added to alcohol to improve its taste and effect. It consists of dried herbs, spices and fruits, including coriander, nutmeg, cardamom, wormwood, cinnamon, orange peel, cumin. The contents of the package are poured into a jar, into which 2 liters of vodka are poured. The mixture is left to stand in a warm place for about 2 weeks. It is strained, poured into bottles and left for about 1 more month before it is ready for consumption. The drink prepared in this way is usually drunk as an aperitif to stimulate the appetite and improve the functioning of the digestive tract.

Why is alcohol mixed with spices?

The initial effect of alcohol is influenced by an increase in the concentration of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, which is found in the spinal cord and brain stem, and by a decrease in its effect on excitatory neuronal transmitters. Spices enhance this effect of alcohol, often directly affecting the level of dopamine in the brain, causing a good mood and euphoria.
