Each capsule combines two forms of vitamin A – fast-acting retinol from fish oil (Atlantic cod – Gadus morhua) and retinyl palmitate – the fatty acid ester of vitamin A with delayed elimination. The combination of these two bioactive forms of the vitamin is a guarantee of its optimal absorption and bioavailability in the body.

Each capsule of Nature's Way's product contains 10,000 IU of vitamin A, which is recommended for the following conditions:
tendency to frequently recurring respiratory or gastrointestinal infections, including tonsillitis, bronchitis, influenza, Escherichia, rhino- and enteroviruses;
functional disorders of the visual analyzer – nyctalopia (“night/night blindness”), xerophthalmia (darkening and dryness of the cornea), macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, impaired conduction of the optic nerve and weakening of vision;
after operations to accelerate the healing of eye tissues;
more serious infectious diseases, including those requiring prolonged treatment such as acute pneumonia, tuberculosis, hepatitis, AIDS, malaria, intestinal infections; childhood infections - measles, mumps, diarrhea, etc.;
dermatological diseases – acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns (including sunburn), cuts, lichen planus, etc. – accelerates healing and reduces the risk of infection.
liver disorders associated with fibrotic changes and bile stasis caused by unbalanced nutrition, alcoholism, taking heavy medications, etc.
