This product is a dietary supplement that contains vitamins D3 and K2 (as menaquinone-7) in liposomal form.

Action:

The liposomal formula allows for higher absorption of active ingredients and vitamins. Liposomes show several advantages for delivering vitamins and nutritional supplements:

• increasing absorption and bioavailability compared to free and other conventional pharmaceutical carriers (i.e. tablets, suspension and capsules).

Vitamin K was originally discovered as a nutrient involved in blood clotting. It comes in two forms: K1 (found in plant foods) and K2 (found in animal and fermented foods).

Higher intake of vitamin K2 is strongly associated with a reduced risk of heart disease. Vitamin K2 plays an essential role in bone metabolism and studies have shown that it may help prevent osteoporosis and fractures.

It is believed that vitamin K2 may play a critical role in dental health.
