Ecological Formulas® NH4 Redox / Ecological Formulas® NH4 Redox is a nutritional supplement that contributes to the normal state and functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

NH4-Redox by Ecological Formulas contains lactitol (a compound derived from lactose), which is used as an energy source by intestinal bacteria to convert ammonia into protein. Mixed branched-chain amino acids (L-isoleucine, L-leucine, L-valine) stimulate the synthesis of glutamine from ammonia and support digestion. It also contains carrot fiber, which helps keep blood sugar levels under control.

Action of the main ingredients:

• Lactitol

Lactitol is a member of the polyol family - sugar alcohols. It plays a key role in maintaining the energy charge through which intestinal bacteria convert ammonia into proteins. It aids digestion and is beneficial for chronic constipation. It nourishes the beneficial probiotic bacteria in the colon.

• Mixed amino acids (L-andzoleucine, L-leucine, L-inalin)

These three amino acids - L-isoleucine, L-leucine and L-valine - are involved in the process of converting ammonia into glutamine. Glutamine is a source of fuel for the cells in the lower digestive tract. It is necessary for maintaining the normal state of the intestinal villi, thus preventing the entry of bacteria into the mucous membrane of the small intestine. Glutamine prevents the entry of unwanted toxins into the digestive system and improves intestinal permeability.

• Fiber from carrot

The fiber in carrots can help keep blood sugar levels under control. It helps relieve chronic constipation and speeds up digestion.
