What is it? R-alpha lipoic acid?

Alpha lipoic acid occurs in two isomers – R- and S-alpha lipoic acid. R-alpha lipoic acid is the natural form in which the acid is found in living organisms, and S-alpha lipoic acid is its synthetic form, which is unstable and cannot be used by our bodies, making it potentially harmful.
