This is Swanson’s first probiotic specifically designed for oral health. It features a special strain of S. salivarius called BLIS K12, developed by BLIS Technologies of New Zealand. BLIS K12 is a beneficial bacteria that lives only in the mouth and has been shown to promote good oral health, support immune system function and prevent the spread of bacteria that can cause bad breath. BLIS K12 has been involved in several clinical trials and has been featured in more than 30 published scientific articles. Scientists believe that when taken regularly, BLIS K12 can help maintain a healthy upper respiratory tract and the health of the throat and mouth itself.
