Description
N-acetyl glucosamine is an aminosaccharide synthesized from glucose and the amino acid L-glutamine, which is stabilized by complexation to an acetyl group. N-acetyl glucosamine is a precursor in the body of hyaluronic acid, which is part of the synovial fluid responsible for lubricating joints. NAG combines with mucin secreted by goblet cells to form the glycocalyx, a protective layer of glycoproteins and polysaccharides that protects the digestive tract. N-acetyl glucosamine is a universal form of glucosamine in joint and intestinal tissue.
Recommended dosage: 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
Note: If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, under the age of 18, or are taking medication, consult your doctor before using this product. Do not take this product if you are allergic to shellfish!
Other ingredients: Cellulose, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). The capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
