Jarrow Formulas ® Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil from the fleshy part of the coconut palm fruit ( Cocos nucifera ) is unrefined and cold-pressed in a controlled, protected environment. This specific process does not use any solvents and at the same time preserves the most volatile compounds responsible for the familiar, rich aroma of coconuts. Coconut oil is a source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), such as lauric acid (C-12) and caprylic acid (C-8).
MCT absorption bypasses the lymphatic system and does not rely on bile salts for absorption, like most lipids. This can provide readily available energy and a host of other health benefits.
Recommendations for Use
Recommended intake : 1 gel capsule 1 or 2 times daily or as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.
