Natures Aid Cod Liver Oil Liquid contains 100% pure Icelandic cod liver oil, a rich source of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Molecularly purified, which ensures that it does not contain heavy metals such as mercury, dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls. Cod liver oil is rich in DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), a major structural component of the brain and retina of the eye. When there is a deficiency of DHA in the body, this can lead to vision problems. It has also been shown that daily intake of Omega-3 helps prevent macular degeneration, one of the main causes of permanent eye damage leading to blindness. Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for the growth and development of the brain in infants. DHA accounts for 40% of the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the brain and 60% of the retina of the eye. After the baby is born, the brain continues to grow very rapidly. During the first year of life, it grows by 175%, and in the second year by another 18%. After the age of 2, changes and growth occur more slowly, but the total brain size increases by only another 21%. Instructions for use:
For adults and children over 5 (five) years of age, 10ml (two teaspoons) daily. For children from 1 (one) to 5 (five) years of age, 5ml (one teaspoon) daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use as a substitute for a healthy diet.
