Blackcurrant seeds are one of the richest plant sources of gamma-linolenic acid. This essential fatty acid belongs to the omega-6 fatty acids and has a remarkable set of properties against various infections and diseases. GLA acts as a precursor to prostaglandins, which perform various important functions in the body. Healthy levels of GLA are associated with good health and well-being. However, the body's ability to metabolize GLA and form DGLA decreases with age, so supplementation is recommended. To preserve the natural profile of the oil after extraction, we used cold-pressed blackcurrant seed oil.
Recommended Dosage: As a dietary supplement, take 3 softgel capsules daily, preferably with food.
