Holland & Barrett Natural Evening Primrose Oil 1000 mg | Plus Vitamin B6 is extracted from the seeds of the wild flower by the cold-pressed method and is enriched with vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and may contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and vitamin E.

Natural Evening Primrose Oil 1000 mg | Plus Vitamin B6 provides linoleic acid (LA) and gamma linoleic acid (GLA), both omega-6 essential fatty acids that the body cannot produce on its own and must be supplied through diet or supplementation. The body actually metabolizes GLA from LA, which can also be found in safflower, hemp, and sunflower oils. It is also found in human breast milk.

GLA is used by the body to produce hormone-like substances called prostaglandins.

Cholesterol metabolism is also linked to linoleic acid - it contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels.
