Arginine as an amino acid is produced in the body by the kidneys and liver, but not in the form of alpha-ketoglutarate. This form can only be obtained through dietary supplements. That is why the pharmaceutical quality of FA A-AKG is of particular importance. Its rapid absorption supports the synthesis of creatine and nitric oxide in the body, which gives the powerful pumping effect before each workout. A-AKG is believed to be up to 10 times better absorbable compared to the amino acid l-arginine in free form.

Another main function of Performance A-AKG is the expansion of blood vessels. This allows a larger amount of oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to reach the muscles during exercise without increasing blood pressure. During intense physical exertion, the normal synthesis of L-Arginine in the body is insufficient, which is why taking FA A-AKG is recommended for active sportsmen and professional athletes!
